Calcium is known to be a prime nutrient for metabolism and is considered by the aquarium industry as a necessary and highly productive supplement for marine environments. Strontium and Selenium are also revered as indispensable for a proper aquarium electrolytic balance. In our trials we have found a specific blend of these aggregates create the best ionic exchange in the “Bio-Dynamics” process. Calcium alone is much less efficient.
It is essential to note that other microelements contained in this product provide benefits beyond those found in our “Bio-Trio” of Calcium, Strontium and Selenium. Molybdenum for instance, even at low levels significantly enhances the stability of the targeted ion reaction. The combined effect helps maximize biologically available oxygen potential.
Calcium Vital Plus is made of the finest all natural calcium and other essential minerals which are crucial nutrients needed for accelerated coral growth and beautification. Calcium level should be maintained at 450 ppm in marine aquariums with both hard and soft corals.
